Lynn uses the Hand Leaf Grabs at her house when doing yard work. They are great for grass clippings or when working with picking up thorny stems (such as Roses). You can pick up 2 or 3 times more than just using your hands, and they keep your nails and hands clean! 🙌

Have you ever seen an air plant bloom? 🌸

We have, and several are blooming at the nursery now! Watch to see the blooms! 🌸😍

🌿Air plants do not need soil. They derive nutrients from the air and water.
🌿They need bright, indirect light indoors.
🌿They love humid environments, such as bathrooms, laundry rooms, or kitchens. Keep them away from air vents blowing directly on them.
🌿Mist or soak them (in a bowl of water for about 20 minutes, usually every week or two) regularly to water them.
🌿You can mount them on driftwood, place them in a bowl for decoration, hang them, or place them anywhere where you can't easily place a potted plant.
🌿Their flower color can be red, pink, purple, yellow, white, or blue, depending on the variety.

🌸Cover or bring inside:
•all spring annuals
•warm-weather veggies & herbs
•fruit trees/ berries with buds
•any buds such as Peonies
•any flowers you want to save

🌸To protect, bring inside or cover with an old sheet, towel, blanket, or frost cloth- we have large sizes available at the nursery. Never use tarps or buckets- anything plastic, as it can damage your plants. Ask us questions below! 🌿

📣Tonight and tomorrow night, we will be having probable freezes. You need to cover or bring inside all spring annuals, warm-weather veggies and herbs, as well as anything you want to protect from a frost, such as Peony buds or anything in bloom you want to protect. 📣Also, be sure to cover fruit trees and berries- you won't have fruit if a frost gets to the buds!

Hello friends, we have sad news to share this morning. Our sweet Lily has peacefully passed away.

She is forever loved by our staff and by so many customers who would come greet her and look for her specifically at the nursery. She was 15 years old and lived a full life of adventure and cuddles here at the garden center. She was spoiled rotten by all of us and all of you. She was our greatest employee who was training Willow to be the next greatest Employee of the Month. We will love her forever. 🩷
